The plan consists of a central living room with kitchen and two separate master bedroom suites at each end of the cottage. One bathroom includes separate access from the common area. The design allows two couples to share the cottage with privacy. At the client's request, the bedrooms use wardrobes instead of built-in closets. Side windows deep in the bedrooms provide balanced natural light.

The house was designed to meet a very contrained budget.
